Once the niche and the five key phrases are ready, next step is to start writing the ebook. How do you go about it? How would you know what chapters to have in your book?

Ranking high on the search engines provides a steady source of traffic. For example, one of the keywords I’m result #2 for brings in about 800 visitors per day. These visitors consistently click on my advertisements, in the end making $40-50 per day. It’s not much, but it’s nothing to cough at.

The cool thing about this is that it’s a passive income – once you rank for a keyword, you don’t have to work every day to get paid. As long as your page is ranking for that search keyword, you’ll make the money. That’s why I’m a fan of SEOing for money.

How to Rank on the Search Engines
This isn’t just theory – this is what I’ve done successfully. I don’t put much stock in theory – I just want to make sure you can actually do what works, without wasting your time.

Let’s get to the good stuff: how to actually rank on the search engines for your term that you want to rank for. There are literally two steps for ranking where you want to rank, once you have a website.

Get Content. 

Search Engines deliver relevant content for people who use the engines. Google, for example, pays tons of attention to the text that’s on a website. The more new articles and posts, the better. It gives Google plenty of content that searchers might be looking for.

What Google likes the most are long articles about a specific topic. I’m extra cautious and I make my articles 850 words targeting two keyword phrases, like “financial planning” and “financial advice”. This is long enough and specific enough that Google likes it.

Your website will need quite a bit of content before it can rank well in the search engines – of course, every website differs a little. I try to get 30 articles on my site before I move on to step two…

Get Links. 

Google ranks articles on the basis of how many links go to the article. For example, if I have an article on “financial tips” and there are 1,000 links from 1,000 trusted websites pointing to that article, I’ll probably be ranked first.

There are tons of things to learn about links, but for the purpose of this article, I’ll keep it short: your links need to be from websites that aren’t spammy, and look “legit”. Also, you’ll need a lot of links. The more the merrier.

For example, getting a 5 links from national newspapers like the Wall-Street Journal and New York Times is probably more important than getting 5 links from Spammy-Money-Internet-Riches-Get-Quick.org. ;-)

Also, the “anchor text” is extremely important. Your keyword that your trying to rank for needs to be in the links. Try to target a few different keywords – if all the links have the same keyword, Google might get suspicious.

How to Build Links to Your Website

But how will you get links? This is the hard part, and takes mostly just a lot of patience, in my experience. Here are a few ideas:
Guest Posts. Write an article for blogs that are also writing about your keyword. These links will be powerful – much more so than most links. The best links come from the biggest blogs, usually.

Article Marketing. Write an article and publish it on websites like ezinearticles.com. There are programs that let you write one article, put it into the program/software, and it’ll automatically go to literally hundreds of websites. I have a software that I use that sends out my articles to nearly 2,000 websites. Make sure to look around my make money online website to learn more.

Link Trading. Find websites about the niche you’re writing about, and offer to trade links. This isn’t as useful as it used to be, but if you can get a bigger website to link to you, you’ll be doing great.

Buying Links. You can even pitch an offer to bloggers for a link to your website. This is considered a little dangerous, in case the search engines find out. I stick exclusively to the above three link building techniques – though there are hundreds of ways to get links to your website.

Make Money With Adsense

If you want to build residual income on the internet you should look into Google AdSense. The opportunities out there to make money with AdSense offer beginners the best change ofbuilding a passive stream of income from the internet. Perhaps the best part about learning to build residual income with AdSense is you can start off small by writing articles on website's that already have prominent search engine placement due to their high page rank, inbound links, and large number of pages.

Those articles have Google AdSense ads on them and earn money when search engines deliver free targeted visitors to click on those ads. This is how you make money with AdSense without your own website just to get the hang of it. It wont take long to realize that this business model is quite effective in building residual income and worth learning before you take the time to learn site building.

Once you learn how how to build a search engine friendly website you can use AdSense to create multiple streams of income. The type of AdSense you use on paid article sites is called "AdSense for content". It is for monetizing content pages hints the name. You can also place AdSense ads on RSS feeds, site search results, mobile webpages, and domains. When you have your own website built you will have all these options since you can easily create a site search engine using Google's tools, build a RSS Feed with Feedburner, convert your pages into mobile ones, and you will of course have tons of content pages to place AdSense ads.

Once you complete this you just let your website run on autopilot. You may want to add some things that will increase the amount of residual income that you make such as an autoresponder ecourse that you either charge money for or contains affiliate links that will earn you commissions on products if you do not have your own. Both options are good money makers. Another thing you can do to increase your amount of residual income is incorporate user generated content. You do this by buying software that you can use on your site that will allow site visitors to create their own pages within your site.

Soon your site will double in pages. There is one product that stands alone in this niche. It is called Content 2.0. It is a software product offered by SiteSell for $100 a year. It easily allows site visitors to create their own content pages that will get indexed by the search engines and return significant traffic to your site. The best part is you can make money with AdSense using this product. On each user generated content page small discrete AdSense link units appear. There are literally thousands of affiliate programs on the internet that you can join for free and market the products for commissions on each sale you make. Being an affiliate marketer is one of the best ways to make money online and here are some of the reasons why...

How To Make Money With Survey Referrals

Anyone who has searched for ways to make money online has probably bumped into one of the survey sites. These are the sites where you get paid to try different offers and fill out surveys. You can pick up some extra money doing this but not a lot as the surveys may pay anywhere from a quarter to a dollar and the offers not much more. People who join these sites either end up loving them because they can make a couple of dollars everyday or hating them because they can't make enough.

When you sign up for a survey site, and there are a lot of them, the chances are it has some sort of referral program. Most people have no idea what a referral program is and end up missing one of the best ways to make money. If you do a search online, you will be able to find lists of the many ways you can refer people to a site and if they use your link, you will get credit. Unfortunately, most of these lists only have offline ways to refer people such as printing up business cards and leaving flyers on cars. While these methods might work, they are no where near as effective as moving your referring efforts online.

Even online, many people attempt to get survey referrals in the wrong way. A common method is to sign up to many forums and include your link in the signature. Then they spend many hours every day looking through the forums and answering questions hoping their links will be seen and followed by the other forum members. This ends up being a lot of hard work for very little return as people in forums are quite Internet savvy and most have already heard about and signed up for surveys.

Anyone who wants to learn how to make referrals in the most efficient way needs to start a blog and learn how to drive targeted traffic to it. Once you get a steady stream of targeted traffic that converts, it is like opening up a water faucet and having the water pour out. Unfortunately, most poeple have little knowledge about blogs and even less knowledge about how to get traffic. Putting up a blog, writing articles for it, and getting traffic is not something that is done overnight. The process takes a tremendous amount of patience and it can take many months of hard work to become successful. If you do things correctly though, the end result can be worth it.

One of the best survey sites is called CashCrate and it is because of their referral system that they are the best. It is my belief that you can make more money with CashCrate referrals than referrals from any other site. They pay you for both first level referrals and second level referrals as well. As mentioned above though, most people have no idea how to go about making referrals and miss out on this part of the money. Although you can make money with the surveys, you can make so much more by getting the referrals and it is a shame that so many people never learn how to do it.

Make Money Online With Keyword Marketing

I get emails all the time from people asking me to summarize exactly the steps I take to make money online. This is mostly because I built an online income that was enough to pay for college in less than a year. I used the business model called "keyword marketing".

Keyword marketing is where you build a website about a specific topic, and then rank it on Google results for that keyword. This website, for example, is built around the keyword "make money online" and might be how you got here.

Here's exactly how I do it, step by step.

1. Get a Domain and Host. 

Every website needs a host. A host is basically the place that your website is located. It's the "address" of your website -- a home for the articles and posts. Hosting can be as cheap as $3.95.

Your domain needs to focus on a keyword that people are searching for. For example, my website targets "how to make money online."

2. Get a usable website design.

Install WordPress or Blogger on your domain. This can usually be done by your host in just a few clicks. Make sure your design makes sense and is easy to use.

3. Plan out 50 articles.

Plan out the top 50 things you need to say about the topic that you've chosen to write about. You don't need more than 50 to start with, though more never hurts.

You can either write the articles yourself (they need to be at least 350 words long), or you can outsource the word to a cheap article writing service. I pay for most of my articles, and pay roughly $5 per article.

4. Place ads and affiliate programs.

This is the fun part. Sign up for programs like AdSense, Commission Junction and ClickBooth. Add the advertisements to your design, find a few products to make sales pages around, and then link to those sales pages from most of your other articles/posts/pages.

This means that you basically have a money-making machine. The more traffic you get, the more you make money.

5. Build Links.

The best source of traffic to get is straight from Google. These visitors are more likely to click ads, buy products and earn you money.

To get Google traffic, you need to have links pointing to your website. Guest posts, article marketing -- find at least 10 different ways to get links, and then build at least 10 links per day. Within a few months, your income will be considerable, if you picked the right topic.

Conclusion

It's not easy to make money online, and most people give up before they get where they are trying to go. But if you follow the above steps to the letter, you'll be able to build an income.

It takes hard word, dedication and will-power. But you can do it. I did it in less than 6 months, and am paying for college this way.

Make Money Online Without Spending Money

In the business world, you are required to spend money in other to get more money. This separates the serious business owners from the non-serious ones. But having an online business is different from the traditional business. In the online business, you can use a blog and make money from it. You don't have to spend money hosting your blog or to pay for any service. If you want to make money online without spending any money, these are what you should do.

1. Get a free blog:- Any one would work just fine, but the blog of most internet marketers is blogger. This is easy to create and set up. You would have to decide if you want to make money with contextual ads or through affiliate program. After you have decided what you want to do, you would go to blogspot and publish the post you have written.

2. Get Traffic to the Blog:- After publishing your blog post, the next thing you want to do is to get traffic to the blog because traffic, your blog is like a fish swimming in the pacific ocean. Without traffic, your blog is another blog that is in the blogosphere that no one knows about. You can get traffic by commenting on other people's blog, being active in forums, doing article marketing and social bookmarking. All these methods are free. They just require your time.

3. Track Your Traffic:- When you see that you are getting traffic to the blog, install a tracking code to see where your visitors are coming from. There are many free tracking codes to use on your blog. Check where the traffic is coming from and capitalize on that traffic. By this I mean you would continue doing what you were doing to bring more of that traffic. If you are getting traffic and you are not making any money yet, that means that you have the wrong traffic. Check your traffic stats again and see where the second source of traffic is coming from. Put more effort so that you get more of that traffic and maybe you might start making money money.

Making money with contextual ads such as adsense needs more work. It required you to get traffic from search engine to get clicks on the ads. Affiliate marketing is much easier because if you do article marketing, people would find your article from search engine and click to your blog. If you have more articles that they like, they might click on your affiliate link and buy a product you recommended. It is easier for search engine bots to see and index your article on article sites than them to index your blog because your blog don't have much authority like the article site. It would take a while for your site to reach that type of authority.
